The RMJ USA Patriot Pipe Tomahawk blends American history with traditional craftsmanship and modern manufacturing. Designed by Ryan Johnson, it features an authentically styled tomahawk head investment cast from durable 6150 carbon tool steel and finished with a rich, dark patina. The 19-inch ash handle is produced on a historic 1904 Defiance gunstock lathe originally built for the Rock Island Arsenal to manufacture stocks for Springfield Model 1903 rifles. For functional pipe use, the handle includes a threaded 17-4 stainless steel cleanout plug. More than a display-worthy piece, the Patriot is a fully functional tomahawk capable of handling camp chores, splitting small pieces of wood and recreational throwing. Because each Patriot requires extensive handwork, the patina, overall handle length and amount of handle extending through the head may vary slightly. These natural variations make every tomahawk unique. Please note that the carbon-steel head can develop rust when exposed to moisture or humid environments. Apply mineral oil or your preferred rust preventative regularly to protect the finish.
