Blade Show Texas 2025 was a huge success, and it's always awesome to see American manufacturers killing it. Dauntless Manufacturing came to Fort Worth and absolutely dominated. I have been watching this brand for some time now and when they posted pictures of the Clifft bowie on Instagram, that was the moment! I swung by their booth in Texas to catch up with these guys and officially onboard them to PVK.

The Dauntless Manufacturing Clifft Bowie: Honoring History, Forging the Future

Dauntless Manufacturing makes the "Clifft", a Bowie-style knife that pays homage to Jesse Clifft, a blacksmith who may have forged the first Bowie knife. This knife blends historical inspiration with modern materials and design, resulting in a blade that's both beautiful and functional. This is without a doubt one of the nicest production fixed blades I've ever handled. I actually purchased one of these at the show for my personal collection. You rarely see keyhole Bowies at all never mind in modern materials.

In-House Excellence

Dauntless commitment to in-house production is a key part of their success. They control every aspect of the process, ensuring top-notch quality and consistency. From the steel selection to the sheath construction, it's all done in their Texas facility. The only part they get help with is the Leather work, they work with the infamous shop Chattanooga Leatherworks 

These guys figured it out and they are making top notch, dare I say some of the best fixed blades in the business right now especially considering the prices.
