The Microtech Scarab is the dual action OTF (Out The Front) knife that will puncture a 50 gallon drum and still open and close with zero failure, only to turn around and be thrust into a helicopter fuselage. This knife is the closest you will get to carrying a light saber, most of the deliveries on these will be going to APO's and FOB's. The Scarab is the evolution of the Ultratech in that it operates similarly but is beefed up for everyday use in the worst places on earth.

The Microtech Scarab is stout and tough like the beetle from where it derives its name, at first you will have a hard time ejecting the blade with the slider but once you do you will realize that that is the safety. These models feature the beetle logo etched on the pocket clip and use a brand new super premium blade steel, ELMAX. The pocket clip is held on by an actual Carbide tipped glass breaker that will crack you out of the toughest situations.

This is a limited edition series with carbon fiber tops and blued hardware with damascus blades, each Scarab had an Ultratech matched with the same serial number and style.
