The Eklipse, designed by Rick Hinderer, possesses its own distinctive attitude that sets it apart from his other designs, such as the XM-18. The Eklipse showcases a more linear approach when it comes to handle and blade metrics. When the blade is deployed, the line extending from the blade tip seamlessly connects to the center of the handle, resulting in a balanced grip. This meticulous design choice ensures a remarkably light and comfortable feel when wielding the knife for any task. The inclusion of double finger grooves and a gently sloping underside of the handle contributes to the Eklipse's ergonomic grip. Additionally, the thumb ramp, equipped with appropriately sized jimping, guarantees a secure hold when adopting a fencing-style grip.
