The Godfather OTF (out-the-front) auto scribe features a powerful spring loaded spike (RC 50) housed in a milled T6 alloy body anodized in color as shown with knurled surfaces at the hilt for grip.
The scribe is fired by pressing the button housed in the recessed silver portion of the handle close to the ejection area. You can rotate the attached pocket clip on the handle to expose or conceal the firing button. To retract the scribe you push the button again and press the spike point into a hard surface until it clicks back into the locked position.
