Avian Disassembly Technology

There may come a time when you need to disassemble your knife for maintenance and cleaning. The challenge with most folding knives is that disassembly and reassembly often require 1-3 different tools, leading to frustration with perfectly recentering the blade and waiting for thread locker to cure.

Fortunately, the Atlas removes these common concerns with our unique ADT system. With ADT, simply unlock the latch to disassemble the knife for maintenance. Upon reassembly, the blade will self-align, and the knife will be ready for action.

ADT eliminates the need for thread lockers and tools, streamlining your maintenance process.

Arcrom X- This coating provides extremely high scratch resistance (at 4,100HV) to help your knife maintain a like-new appearance for a lifetime. For reference, this is harder than sapphire crystal (roughly 2000HV) and tungsten carbide (2500HV). Unlike DLC, this coating also provides a secure grip. It has a 0.5 coefficient of friction to ensure comfortable handling even with slippery hands.
