The ESEE Pinch Survival Kit is built from quality, time-tested tools. The kit was designed by Randall's Adventure Training in association with personnel working overseas missions. It can be used in conjunction with your current knife/multi-tool and weapon system, or as a stand-alone kit. This is a "last ditch" survival kit and is small enough to be carried on the person at all times when working or traveling in potentially hostile environments.
ESEE James Gibson Pinch Neck Knife:
The Gibson Pinch is one if not the most anticipated offering ever to come from ESEE Knives because it's a design that just works. Custom knifemaker James Gibson always has a knife dangling around his neck, especially out in the bush, to accompany his working fixed blade. However, around a campsite you'll be surprised how often you lend a knife out, leaving you without a cutting edge. Enter the Pinch backup neck knife to save the day.
This svelte skeletonized design measures under 3.5" overall, yet it packs a 1.3" Wharncliffe cutting edge for a surprising amount of cutting power. It's made of 1095 high carbon steel with a black oxide stonewashed finish that is subtle and hard-wearing. The best part of the knife, by far, is the "Earth Magnet" sheath. It uses a rare earth magnet to provide the retention which enables the knife to easily fit and stay positioned in the sheath with great retention yet it is still easy to get to and draw in a pinch. We love the ergonomics and ease of use of this design, it's no wonder so many were eagerly awaiting its arrival.
