Protech TR-4 T4105-F Auto Magnacut Stonewash Blade, Black Feather Handle
The Tactical Response Model 4 breaks away from the rest of the line, its big its bad its ready for work. The term "Tactical Knife" gets used to describe many things and this knife should be at the top of the list, Protech has listened to its users and taken it a step further.
The TR4 has a full 4 inch drop point blade that comes scary sharp (Protech Sharp) with grind lines perfect for sweeping or thrust cuts, and as with all Protech's the speed and power behind this auto coil fired blade is remarkable. The handle has been designed with Tactical in mind featuring a slide safety, recessed firing button and an extra large stainless steel lanyard hole that extends past the end of the handle to double as a glass breaker / skull cracker. The grip on the TR4 is legendary with three large finger choils cut into the handle and a forth formed by the upper bolster of the handle and lower portion of the blade so you can choke up on the knife for fine detail work.
The Protech TR4 comes in a variety of handle and blade finishes but over all is the large size knife in the Tactical Response series The TR4 features a pocket clip with tip-up carry and is finished to match the blade. The tactical response series from Protech represent the brand well with hard hitting auto action and vise like lock-up.
